With Southern Ontario entering the COVID-19 Provincewide Shutdown, all Oshawa Public Libraries branches will be closed to the public effective December 24th. Curbside Take-out Service will be available at the Jess Hann, McLaughlin and Northview branches beginning on January 2, 2021. The Delpark Homes Centre Branch will remain closed until further notice.

What are we doing to keep you safe?
As the Province goes into shutdown effective Deccember 26, 2020 at 12:01 a.m., the following changes will be made to Library services:
o All branches of Ajax Public Library will be closed to the public;
o Library materials can be placed on hold and picked-up via curbside/pedestrian pick-up;
o Library materials can be returned via external drop boxes at all three branches, 24/7;
o All items that have been returned will be quarantined for 7 days before being removed from your account;
o Virtual programs will continue to be available online;
o Digital collections such as downloadable or streaming eBooks, audiobooks, movies, TV shows, and more will be available;
o Library staff will offer reference assistance via phone, email, or chat.
